Do you like to surf the WEB ?
Well I'm sure you don't like it when pages you visit open additional, unwanted popup advertising. Each time you have to close manually these popups.
NOT ANY MORE....! Tray Helper can scan your PC every few seconds and kill all unwanted popups!

It's quite easy. Just follow this simple procedure:

When a new unwanted popup appears - don't kill it yourself!

NOTE 1: Some popups DON'T have titles (i.e. empty title) - unfortunately, it's not possible to kill these.

NOTE 2: Please remember that this killer is harmless to all your rest applications. If you for example ask to kill "Notepad" titled windows - killer will kill only your browser's windows named like that. Your Windows notepad is safe! :)

NOTE 3: This application is VERY flexible - it can kill windows of Internet Explorer (by default), Netscape, Opera and ANY OTHER APPLICATION YOU SUBSCRIBE TO! To decide which browsers are the targets for killer please click on button no. 11. Full description of this menu is here.

NOTE 4: When the killing windows option is active - you can enter a special mode that will ignore all settings and will force Tray Helper to kill ALL NEW windows of your browser. In this mode, the title &/or size of the window is not important and every window (beside those that are currently open) will be killed. To enable this mode, be sure to select the proper item in the TRAY MENU.

1 - If Tray Helper finds in your system any browser window with a title matching an item from this list - it will kill this window. Read about check-boxes (no. 14) below.
2 - Here is a list of currently open browser windows in your system. You can refresh this list by clicking button no. 7.
3 - If you click on any title from box no. 1 - it will appear here. It's possible to edit a selected title. Click button no. 4 to confirm changes, then button no.5 to add the new title to the kill list.
4 - Click this button to confirm changes made in edit box no. 3.
5 - Click this button to add a title from box no. 3 to kill list.
6 - Click this button to delete a title selected in box 1 from kill list.
7 - Click this button to add any title selected from box no. 2 to the kill list.
8 - Click this button to refresh the content of box no. 2.
9 - Tick this check box to enable killing windows in the background. If you want to temporarily disable all background activity, it's a good idea to leave this check box ticked and instead use "Pause all background activity" menu item from application's TRAY MENU.
10 - Insert how often you want Tray Helper to check your system. Lower values allow popup windows to be killed more effectively - but at a cost of slightly higher CPU usage. Default values around 4/5 seconds are fine for most users and there is NEAR NO CPU usage in those settings!
11 - Click this button will take you to ADDITIONAL SETTINGS menu - there you can specify some extra features of popup killer - e.g. you can activate the temporary disable key - which will disable killer while pressed. You may also want to specify that windows bigger than AAA x BBB pixels should not be killed at all.
12 - Just statistical information -current number of popups killed on your PC by Tray Helper :-D
13 - Indicates the current status of this module (ENABLED/DISABLED) - refer to no. 9 above if you wish to change it.
14 - These check boxes are VERY important. They define how specific or wide-ranging you want Tray Helper's killing spree to be.
For example:
If you add the window title ABCD to the kill list string while the check box is EMPTY - it means that you want EVERY page that contains this string to be killed. i.e. a window with title OK_ABCD_SOMETHING will be killed as well as any window just named ABCD. If the check box is ticked, it means that you want ONLY pages named ABCD to be killed. Any string shorter, longer or just different in any way will survive.
